Tuesday night was a good night to spend time in the Newman Dining Hall as community members shared their talents and passion for music at the first of a monthly series of "Open Mic Night". Passerby's gathered to watch and listen to this event organized primarily by resident Tom Almeida. Props to Tom for having a vision and seeing it through. This is a strong example of Newman spirit. When Tom wanted to see something new around the Dorm, he created it. It is exactly this zeal and love for St. Johns that brought you things such as nConnect and this bi-weekly Bag of Chips.
