Anyone who has a brother or a sister knows that feeling of irritation that only siblings can give each other. I have a younger sister and two little brothers, and I know that feeling all too well. But at the end of the day, my siblings are my best friends and my favorite time of the school year is when they come to Champaign to visit me.
Thankfully, it’s that time of year again. Sibling’s weekend starts Friday, November 14 with one of Newman’s most treasured events: Coffeehouse. Bring your sister or brother to see the talented residents of Newman Hall perform live in the Lewis Lounge (beginning at 7pm on Friday the 14th). Also, the Illini will take on Ohio State that weekend, so be sure to treat the sibs to an authentic collegiate weekend at the game.
